Bursa Cement Factory Difference in Occupational Health and Safety

World Occupational Health and Safety Week was celebrated with a series of events held at the Bursa Cement Factory. This year's main theme of the events aiming to develop a culture of occupational health and safety was determined as "healthy life". In this context, all employees started to work by doing basic warm-up exercises under the leadership of the institution doctor. The basic sports activity, which is brought to life with the slogan "Live healthy" and aims to include mobility in activities during the day, will continue throughout the year, increasing productivity and motivation.

Within the scope of the events, the first plaque was placed on the Bursa Cement OHS Performance Success Register, which is the result indicator of training and practices aimed at raising occupational health and safety awareness, by the Mechanical Maintenance Directorate, which achieved its OHS targets. Bursa Cement General Manager Osman Nemli, stating that the cement industry is an exemplary sector in terms of OHS, said, “Our factory carries out different and effective practices on the road to accident-freeness. We, as individuals, can be an exemplary factory in the exemplary sector by displaying exemplary behavior on a factory basis.”
